ABOUT ME

Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember and for almost two decades I've had the joy of telling people's stories through my lens professionally. As a little girl, I was always fascinated by the old black and white photos of relatives I never met. I could often be found wandering around people's homes questioning what made them choose to frame that certain picture. I'm blessed to have made a career out of capturing connection, personality, and the beauty in real moments. I'm the co-owner of M.Studios, where I photograph weddings with my best friend, Melissa. We have a gorgeous studio in Hope Artiste Village for portraits and mini shoots. In 2023, we were honored to win Rhode Island Monthly's Best of RI for wedding photography! My portrait work is a nice way to balance the beautiful chaos of wedding photography with a slower, more relaxed approach to capturing people as they are.

Before pursuing photography full time, I worked as a preschool teacher. This chapter, along with raising my three sons, shaped my patience, empathy, and love for genuine expression. I'm a lifelong Rhode Islander who feels most at peace by the ocean. Outside of photography, I'm a proud bonus mom to my sons' friends, a devoted plant mom to over 50 house plants, and a cat mom to Ted Williams & Martha Stewart. I enjoy yoga, gardening, watercolor painting and can always unwind with a little Bravo!
